February weather
February is a great month to visit Spain- especially Madrid. Winter is starting to come to an end, and there are many exciting outdoor festivities going on. Madrid is also one of the most romantic places to be for those looking for somewhere to spend Valentine’s Day! Madrid does not get too much rain in February, except for the occasional yet rare shower.
What do the temperatures look like?
During February, you will see highs of 52⁰F (11⁰C), and lows of 36⁰F (2⁰C).
These temperatures are still not what most would consider warm, so it is suggested to bring very warm clothing. Scarves and hats are not only trendy, but necessary for keeping you warm. You may also want to bring a warm blanket (if you have extra room) and thick pajamas because some of the older hotels in Madrid do not have heat.
If you are looking to go somewhere that has nice cool, crisp weather, then Madrid is your best bet. You won’t be rained out of any activities you might have planned due to the very dry weather!
