August weather
Ahh, it’s August and it is finally starting to cool off in Madrid. Fall is creeping around the corner, and the summer is coming to a close. No more extreme hot summer temperatures, although it is still rather warm. The weather is prime in August, and the rain is scarce. However, when rain does come, it is typically in the form of a nice summer storm. If you want to have the city to yourself, then August would be the best month to come. Tourism declines during this August and locals are out and about. In mid August you will start to see the days cool, which allows for nice refreshing breezes. This is the time for causal strolls in the beautiful city of Madrid.

In August, you will find highs of 86⁰F (30⁰C), and lows of 63⁰F (17⁰C). These temperatures fill everyone’s needs because they are not extraordinarily hot, yet they are not cold either. While the days are beginning to shorten, they are still long enough and pleasant. Additionally, the nights are shorter and cooler.
August weather is said to be the most peaceful due to the lack of tourists and storms. If you are one who wants to get away from the normal Madrid crowd, then August should be top on your list.
