Atletico Madrid has most successful history in the Spanish Football League. Atletico Madrid was founded on 09 October 1939. In 1958-59 Atletic Madrid were reaching in the semi final of European cup. In 1965 Atletico Madrid was the runner up team for La Liga title, Real Madrid has beaten by Atletico Madrid at Bernabeu first time in eight years. Atletico Madrid has a home ground called Vicente Calderon Stadium. It has a holding capacity of 55000 peoples. It is located by the bank of Manzanres River. The location called like the heart of city. Atletico Madrid has a great fan mail in Domestic football and European leagues. Atletico Madrid’s performance is very poor in the season of 2009-10. In this period Atletico Madrid have received many Goals and defeats. Their performance is very poor during this period both in Domestic and European stage. Atletico Madrid was hammered by Chelsea Football Club on 21 October 2009 in the Champions’ League Group stage. This was the reason to leave the manager of Atletico Madrid.
